We're a snuggly family...

Our son was recently diagnosed with ADHD - something that came as no surprise to us. He is a wonderful kid - very affectionate, very loving & caring. His favorite thing to do is snuggle on the couch with daddy and mommy, watching tv (The History Channel - how's THAT for a 5 year old!).

So when he misunderstood a conversation, and somehow interpreted that Daddy was NOT going on vacation with us, he was upset. "WHO is going to snuggle me? Nobody snuggles like Daddy!"

Rest assured, son - Daddy is coming. And hopefully, so are many more years of a boy who likes to snuggle Mommy & Daddy.

Does the web need another blog?

Why, yes it does!

I spent this morning cleaning the house - well, cleaning the upstairs of the house, aas the kids destroyed the main floor. As I was folding the mountain of laundry, I was watching the Oprah marathon that I had taped on DVR. The episode was about "The Last Lecture" -
http://www.thelastlecture.com/ - not a new concept for me, as I own the book. But something snapped in me; I turned off the TV, left the laundry for after the kids go to bed, and went downstairs. After freeing the dog from the bathroom - don't ask - we went to the pool.

Amid the the many cries of "Mommy! Watch me!" "Mommy, Look at ME!", a blog was born. I hope you enjoy.
